Hello there! If you made it to this page, you are like me. I LOVE to learn about other people and hearing their stories, looking at pictures of their families. I believe that every person has a story to tell and it’s always an interesting one.
Unfortunately, you reading this is going to be very one-sided, so when you’re done reading about me, please DO EMAIL ME and tell me a little about yourself. I LOVE to make connections with people.
This is my wonderful family. I’m the one on the right, holding my toddler son. We look like the perfect family in this picture but you probably know the truth that no one is perfect. We have our struggles and each of us is growing and learning in our own way.
I am married to the best guy in the whole world, Rob, who I met in college. We both were tutors for Business Calculus and struck up conversation…to this day, he is the person I love most talk to! Besides being a good husband and father, he is the developer behind this beautiful website (so if you need those type of services, I know a guy…).

Our children range from the age of 19 to 3. Two girls and five boys. I have to say when I was first married, I never thought I would have 7 children, but I do believe that my children have kept me looking young…but that’s a story for a future post 🙂
I didn’t grow up in a natural household by any means. I ate Fruit Loops along with the Filipino diet of stews and rice. When I became an adult, I started to be concerned about putting on weight and found that though I counted calories and exercised, it was difficult to keep weight off. Some of the medical advice I was given didn’t always work, like drinking skim milk and keeping to a low-fat diet. About 6 years ago, my husband and I found some books like “Eat Fat, Lose Fat” (link; future post link here too) that made so much more sense and there was medical data to back up the results. And even better, my blood test showed my triglycerides went down (a good thing), my LDL (bad cholesterol) went down and my HDL (good cholesterol) went up, proving that sometimes you need to do a little more digging to find the truth.
My discovery of essential oils was similar to that. I heard a lot about it but wanted to find out if they really worked.
As we have journeyed toward a more holistic life, I have discovered how much we eat impacts our bodies (wouldn’t you know that Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine agreed with that in saying, “Let your food be your medicine and your medicine your food.”)
After reviewing the research, hearing firsthand testimonies from others who used them and trying a few oils for myself and my kids, I fell in love with essential oils for physical and emotional heath and have done my best to remove toxins from my home. Essential oils have helped with that. And I would like to help you in a small way in helping you along in your journey towards a more holistically healthy lifestyle…hence the name of our website, Essential Oils help….they do help and we can help you.
Leading a more holistically healthy life doesn’t have to be complicated or difficult. It is unique to each individual. What I said about my family is true for all…each of us is growing and learning in our own way.
I want to help busy moms just like me to take practical steps towards a more holistic life so that they can cultivate their family’s wellbeing.
I’d love for you to join the journey with me by subscribing to our blog updates. I’m learning a lot and taken steps over the years to make my home a little safer and family a little healthier, and I’m excited to share with you what I’ve learned. Perhaps you’ve learned some things and would like to share with me what you’ve learned. I’m still learning on this journey…won’t you join me?
